I am currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Research Centre for Nature-based Urban Infrastructure Solutions at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. I was a postdoctoral research associate at the Lyles School of Civil and Construction Engineering at Purdue University, while closely collaborating with the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) on JTRP projects.
I obtained both my PhD and Bachelor’s degrees in Transportation Engineering from School of Transportation at Tongji University in Shanghai, China, graduating with honor and the highest GPA in my cohort. I joined the Department of Civil Engineering and Management at University of Twente in Enschede, the Netherlands as a visiting PhD student for one year.
My research focuses on life-cycle management of transportation infrastructure, with emphasis on sustainable construction, intelligent operation, and adaptive renewal.
